Getting started
What is Dashless Signal?
Dashless is a media-buying co-pilot for Meta Ads. It connects to your Meta account, surfaces every dollar you're wasting, scales your winners, watches your spend pacing, alerts you the moment ROAS drops, and writes you a Monday + Friday strategic memo. Think of it as the layer between your instincts and Meta Ads Manager.
How do I sign up?
Click Sign inand continue with Google. We use Google's 2FA + passkey support — no passwords to remember. If you don't use Google, click "Email me a sign-in link instead."
How long does setup take?
Five minutes. Sign in → connect your Meta Ads account → run analysis. The first signal appears within 30 seconds of the sync completing.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 7-day trial requires no card. We'll only ask for payment if you decide to keep using Dashless after the trial ends.
What if I don't have a Meta account ready to connect?
Click "Try demo data" on the dashboard. We seed a complete mock account with realistic signals, an AI strategic memo, pacing data, and pre-actioned signals so you can explore every feature without connecting anything.
Pricing & billing
How much does it cost?
Flat tiers, no ad-spend tiers:
- · Operator — $249/mo · up to 5 Meta accounts · 2M Claude tokens
- · Pro Agency — $499/mo · up to 15 accounts · 6M tokens · cross-account portfolio view
- · Founding — $99/mo locked 12 months · 1 account · waitlist-only
How does pricing compare to other ad-optimization tools?
Most competitors (Madgicx, Triple Whale, Revealbot) charge by your ad spend tier — the more you scale, the more you pay them. Dashless is flat. Spend $5K or $500K through Meta this month: same price.
What happens at the end of my trial?
You get email reminders on day 3, 5, and 6 of the trial showing what we've found in your account. On day 7, if you haven't subscribed, analysis pauses and your alerts stop. No data is deleted. You can subscribe and pick up exactly where you left off any time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click in Settings → Subscription → Manage billing. Your subscription ends at the next billing cycle. We don't pro-rate refunds, but we won't charge you again.
What's your refund policy?
If something is genuinely broken on our side and you tell us within the first 14 days of your first paid month, we'll refund you in full. Beyond that, no refunds — but the trial is designed to remove the need.
What are AI tokens and what counts against my quota?
Every time Claude reasons about your account — explaining a signal, writing the strategic memo, generating a brief, judging detected signals — it uses tokens. Plans bundle a monthly token allowance. Real usage is typically 10-30K tokens/month. Power users (heavy Explain + chat usage) can hit 80K+. Overages bill at $8 per additional 100K tokens.
How it works
What does Dashless actually detect?
Five signal types, refined by Claude:
- · Creative fatigue — frequency rising while CTR falls
- · Budget bleed — campaigns spending at target while ROAS degrades
- · Winner suppression — top-ROAS ads being underfunded by the algorithm
- · Audience overlap — ad sets bidding against themselves, inflating CPMs
- · Rest recommendations — formerly-winning ads degraded past threshold
What does the AI strategic memo actually contain?
Mondays and Fridays at 7am UTC, Claude reads your pacing, signals, and recent changes and writes you a memo: a 3-paragraph executive summary, your concerns ranked by dollar impact, your opportunities ranked by projected uplift, what worked recently, what didn't, and a prioritised 5-action focus list for the next 7 days. Export as Markdown, CSV or text to send to clients.
How accurate are the dollar figures?
We split the math into wallet-saved vs ad-spend-redirected so the number is honest. "Wasted ad spend saved" is only counted when pausing actually reduces your wallet (e.g. pausing a campaign whose budget lives at campaign level). "Ad spend redirected" is the spend on a losing entity that gets redistributed within its parent ad set or campaign. Most ad-optimization tools blend these — we don't.
What's the difference between "Wasted Ad Spend Saved" and "Spend Redirected"?
Wasted Ad Spend Saved is a real wallet reduction — only counted when the pause matched the budget level (e.g. you paused a campaign-budget-optimised campaign, or an ad set with its own daily budget, or hit a lifetime cap). Spend Redirected is when you pause an ad inside a CBO ad set or campaign — the parent's budget keeps spending, the money just flows to remaining ads. Your wallet doesn't shrink; your average ROAS improves. Both are useful; we report them separately so your numbers stay defensible.
Why don't you show a confidence % per signal?
We used to. We pulled it because a percentage without a defensible derivation is worse than no number. Today we show the raw inputs instead — "based on 14 days of data, $2,400 spent, 23 conversions" — so you can judge for yourself whether the sample is meaningful. Once we have enough cross-account calibration data to publish a real confidence formula, we'll restore the percentage with the math underneath it.
How is the counterfactual baseline computed?
We take the 7-day rolling trajectory of ROAS, CPA, CTR, and revenue just before the action, and project it forward as a flat-trend line. The actual post-action curve is overlaid on top. The gap between them is the change you defended. We cap the projection at 14 days — past that, the linear baseline starts to drift and we'd rather show "insufficient data" than a guess.
What is the 'change attribution'?
Every status, budget, targeting, and creative change you make on Meta gets auto-detected by our sync. We capture pre-change metrics, then accumulate 30 days of post-change parent metrics. The Performance Lab shows you what each change actually moved — with a counterfactual graph plotting what would have happened if you'd done nothing.
Will it pause ads automatically?
No, by default. Every signal requires you to click "Take Action" and Claude challenges you with likely benign explanations before executing. The one exception is the optional hard-pause-on-spend-cap-breach toggle in Pacing settings — when enabled, if you breach your monthly cap, every active campaign gets paused via Meta. You opt into that.
Can I undo an action if Claude was wrong?
Yes. Every actioned signal shows an Undo button that resumes the entity via Meta in one click. Mistakes are reversible.
Security & data
What data does Dashless access?
Only campaign, ad set, ad, and insights data via the Meta Marketing API scopes you grant: ads_read (to read your ad data) and business_management (to identify which Business Manager owns the account). One-click pause and apply actions roll out via the ads_management scope once Meta completes its review of it. We never read messages, posts, or audiences as PII.
How are my Meta tokens stored?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256 using a per-deployment encryption secret. Database access is restricted by Supabase Row-Level Security so you can only ever see your own rows. We never log decrypted tokens.
Does Anthropic train models on my data?
No. When Claude analyses your account or you chat about a signal, the relevant data and your message are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Under our agreement Anthropic does not retain that data for training.
Where is my data hosted?
Postgres database at Supabase (AWS-backed, multi-region failover). Application servers at Vercel. All data in transit uses HTTPS. Stripe handles all payment data — we never see your card.
How do I export or delete my data?
You can disconnect any Meta account from Settings at any time. To export the AI strategic memo as Markdown, CSV or text, click Export on the memo panel. To request full deletion of your account and all associated data, visit Data deletion or email support@dashless.app — we process deletion requests within 7 days.
Are you GDPR / UK GDPR compliant?
Yes. We are a UK-registered business (registered office in Glasgow, Scotland). We minimise data collection, store tokens encrypted, never sell or share data, and honour data-subject access and deletion requests within statutory timeframes.
Integrations
Does Dashless work with Google Ads or TikTok?
Not yet — Meta only. This is deliberate. Doing one platform deeply beats five platforms shallowly. Google Ads is on the roadmap once we hit 50+ paying customers; TikTok comes after that.
Does Dashless integrate with Slack?
Yes. Click Connect Slack in Settings, choose your workspace and channel, and critical signals + hard alerts post there in real time. Block Kit formatted with the dollar headline as the title.
Can I forward alerts to multiple email addresses?
Today, alerts go to your account email. Multi-recipient is on the roadmap once we have customer demand.
Is there an API or webhook?
Not yet — we're focusing on the in-app experience. Public API + webhooks (Zapier/n8n compatibility) are roadmap items for the Agency tier once we have an agency customer asking.
Agency / multi-account
Can I use Dashless across multiple client accounts?
Yes. Operator covers up to 5 Meta accounts; Pro Agency covers up to 15. Each account has its own pacing, alerts, signals, score, and strategic memo. Switch accounts via the dropdown on the dashboard header.
Can I generate client reports?
Yes — the AI strategic memo exports as Markdown / CSV / TXT, and any analysis can be turned into a public read-only share link via the dashboard. Send the link to a client; they see the findings without needing a Dashless account.
Do you offer agency pricing for >15 accounts?
Yes — email hello@dashless.appand we'll build a custom plan. We're prioritising agencies with 5-30 client accounts spending $20K-$200K each.
Compared to other tools
How is Dashless different from Madgicx?
Madgicx leans toward autonomous AI optimization at higher price points. Dashless is human-in-the-loop — you approve every action, with Claude challenging you before each one. Different philosophy, different buyer. Madgicx prices by ad spend; Dashless is flat.
How is Dashless different from Motion?
Motion is creative analytics — Hook/Watch/Click scores. Dashless is account-level optimization plus a creative Brief generator (free with plan). If your bottleneck is analysing creative variants, Motion is the right tool. If it's catching waste, scaling winners, and understanding what your changes did — that's us.
How is Dashless different from Triple Whale?
Triple Whale is attribution-first — solving "where did sales come from". Dashless is action-first — solving "what should I do today." They sit in different parts of the buying workflow. Many of our agency users run both.
How is Dashless different from Meta Ads Manager's native creative fatigue alerts?
Meta added native fatigue tracking in 2026. We do far more — five detectors, AI judging, cross-signal pattern recognition, the strategic memo, change attribution, the wallet-vs-redirected math, hard alerts, brief generation. And critically: Meta has zero incentive to help you spend less. We do.
Other
Why is the product called "Signal"?
Because it cuts through noise. Most of what your ad account shows you every day is noise — pacing volatility, attribution lag, normal day-of-week variance. Signal is what's actually wrong, what's working, and what to do next. Hence the name.
Who built Dashless?
A small team based in Glasgow, Scotland building a tool we wished existed. We've spent years running Meta ad accounts ourselves and gotten tired of the same five problems (fatigue, bleed, suppression, overlap, decay) being unsolved by every tool we paid for.
Is there a community or Slack?
Coming. We're focused on getting the first 50 paying customers right before opening a community. If you want early access, email hello@dashless.app.
I'm having a problem — how do I reach support?
Email support@dashless.app. We respond within 24 hours business days, usually sooner. Founder responds personally for the first ~100 customers.
